Abstract. In the article the standards of design and maintenance of the railway track at the fractures of the profile are analyzed. The main requirements that apply to the design of the longitudinal profile on special-load, high-speed and very high speed sections are considered. The problems that exist in the maintenance of vertical curves are highlighted, namely, the lack of technology for resolvent pockets on profile fractures. Proposals were formed to reduce the cost of restoring the longitudinal profile on fractures during the remedial action.

Abstract. The basic requirements for determining the optimal temperature range for fastening continuous welded rail are given.  If these requirements are not met, then it is necessary to use the design temperature range for fastening continuous welded rail. It is almost impossible to ensure the optimal temperature range for fastening continuous welded rail established by regulatory documents, when passing modern locomotives in curves of small and medium radius. A formula is proposed that takes into account the calculated minimum rail temperature in the winter period. It also provides to rationally set the optimal temperature range for fastening continuous welded rail.

Belenyuk Irina — 3rd year student of the Department of Architecture of the State University of Land Management. Moscow, Russia. E-mail: irinabelenyuk@gmail.com. РИНЦ SPIN-код: 3484-5914

Abstract. The article considers the problems of the device of a kind of culvert — a ducker, located in the earth bed of railways.

The authors proposed to update the codes of rules that do not regulate the design and construction of a ducker as an individual artificial structure.

A variant of the well design of a reinforced concrete ducker through the embankment of the railway is proposed.

Generation of switches

Keywords: switchboard, generation, unified designation system, project relevance.

Glusberg Boris — D.Sci, Professor, Head of laboratory «Аrrow farm» research Institute of railway transport (JSC «VNIIZHT»). Moscow, Russia. E-mail: Glusberg@mail.ru

Korolev Vadim — Ph.D., associate Professor of department «Transport construction», Russian University of Transport. Moscow, Russia. E-mail: Korolevadim@mail.ru

Abstract. The relevance of switch products can be largely characterized by their belonging to a certain generation. The article considers the division of switches used on Russian railways into 5 generations. It is necessary to develop a unified system of designations that would characterize the relevance of the switch design and its technical characteristics.

The superelevation specified according to the allowable speed

Keywords: superelevation, track curve, permissible speed, allowable speed

Vaganova Olesya — head of the Normative and Methodological Department of the track and structure management of the Central Directorate if Infrastructure — branch of the JSC «Russian Railways». Moscow, Russia. E-mail: vaganovaon2@center.rzd.ru

Sidorova Elena — Ph.D, senior researcher of the Science Center «TsPRK» of JSC «VNIIZHT». Moscow, Russia. E-mail: Sidorova.Elena@vniizht.ru

Annotation. The article is devoted to the search for a new approach to specifying of the superelevation. The relevance of the study is due to the growing differentiation of the operating conditions of the railway network, associated with the increase of train masses and the freight traffic density of the main directions. In modern conditions, an incorrect specifying of the superelevation leads to the overplus of the superelevation, which sharply negatively affects the operation of the rails both along the outer and inner length of rails in the curves. The provisions of the study are based on a retrospective analysis of the regulatory documentation in terms of specifying of the superelevation. The results of the article include proposals for the creation of a new system for specifying of the speeds and the superelevation.

Krivous Andrey — postgraduate student at the Department of Geodesy, Geoinformatics and Navigation at the Russian University of Transport (RUT (MIIT). E-mail: andrey-krivous@rambler.ru. SPIN-code: 8209-0987

Abstract. The article discusses the technology for determining the parameters and elements of the straightening of the railway curve based on the use of digital photogrammetry. The program of experimental work, characteristics of technical means used in the performance of experimental work and an algorithm for processing the results of experimental work are presented.

It is shown that the accuracy of determining the parameters of a circular curve and straightening elements is comparable to the accuracy of determining the geodetic method. The advantage of the photogrammetric method is obtaining the desired values in coordinates and ensuring the safety of work.
