The Order of Articles Presentation of to the Journal
The editorial Board of "Railway Track and Facilities" accepts articles to the publication on paper and (or) on electronic media or by e-mail to pph@inbox.ru after prior agreement. Articles, getting without prior approval, dealt within one month.
The author must indicate your name, affiliation, position, contact information, academic degrees and scientific titles.
The text of the article with an abstract, keywords, references, graphs, figures and tables should be submitted in the file format *.doc or *.rtf without hyphenation. Each name in the list of references should be in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.0.5 "Bibliographical reference ". References in the text to sources should be given in square brackets according to numbering in the list of references.
The approximate volume of the manuscript – from 3 to 14-16 pages (depending on the issue's significance), typed in the font Courier New Cyr 14 size at 100% discharge to 0.8 points and margins: 2 cm on page top and bottom, 3 cm on the page left and 1.5 cm on the page right. Tables that contain only text and figures, are made in MS Word or MS Excel, charts and diagrams ― in MS Excel or MS PowerPoint *.ppt and attached separately. Complex formulas should be typed in the built-in MS Word equation editor programme. Figure captions should be placed after the text of the article.
Drawings can be inserted into the article text, but must be also presented in separate files in format *.tif, *.jpg, *.ppt, (for black / white and color line illustrations, e.g., graphs, charts, diagrams, etc.) and *.tif or *.jpg (for color and black-and-white photos). When using *.tif, and *.jpg formats be aware that the size of the figure should be 85 mm (when placed on the same column of two-column set) or 115 mm (when placed on two columns of three-columned set). The resolution of the picture must be at least 300 dpi (dots per square inch) for photographs and 600 dpi for the scanned line drawing. To check the resolution and size of the picture the author can with the help of any image processing program. Files of format *.jpg should be prepared with the least possible level of compression (highest quality).
An article accepted for publication shall be sent to the author after editing is sent for approval via e-mail in a file format *.pdf or *.doc. The comments and corrections, if necessary, the author submits with highlighting by colour the corrections and comments if needed in the output file of *.doc format, or in a separate list (to a file in *.pdf format) and within three days sends them to the editor by e-mail, fax or brings personally.
