The choice of the strength of the subgrade based on the estimation of wave characteristics dynamic effects of train load path

Keywords: dynamic effects of pair of wheels, subgrade, elastic waves, characteristics of the interaction, the orthotropic properties of the embankment, reflected waves, the point of interaction of waves.

In the paper of the modeled processes of propagation of the wave surfaces appearing in the embankment of the railway track due to the dynamic interaction between wheel and rail, when this mound appears to be flat elastic anisotropic target. Developed and tested a computational algorithm and software package that allows to determine the coordinates of the points of interaction of direct and reflected from the upper and lower boundaries of the mound of waves to determine the location of the reinforcement cloth to ensure the required stiffness of the whole structure of the railway track. The stiffness of the subgrade is one of the key factors affecting the safe operation of the road. With a weak sub grade geometry shape of the rail track are rated no higher than satisfactory and require large expenditures for current maintenance of the road. In this case, the speed of movement on the part of the road is limited due to the dynamic impact on the elements of the railway track and the impact of the shock wave. In high-speed movement, the problem of propagation of the wave surfaces appearing in the embankment of the railway track due to the dynamic interaction of wheel and rail becomes actuality.
