Abstract: This article describes self-cooling complex of systems of the foundations for railway construction, the new "hot" method of big diameter (from 1.2 to 2.4m) pile immersing to depth of more than 25m into frozen soil. Also is given the comparison of the effectiveness of deep and surface cooling, and it’s presented the results of the development of complex. COSTS FORECASTING AND OPTIMIZATION - THE BASIS OF TRACK REPAIRS PLANNINGKeywords: railway track, track repair planning, railway track condition forecasting, maintenance of way optimization, life cycle cost. Abstract: The article describes the methodology of forecasting of track condition and maintenance-of-way system optimization. Methodology is based on the analysis of databases of automated railway infrastructure control systems.
Track condition forecasting should be based on special mathematic model, considering periods of track stabilization, normal exploitation and degradation.
Maintenance of way system optimization should be based on criterion of minimal Life Cycle Costing, including costs for track laying, mid-life repairs, track maintenance work and additional costs in related railway branches, associated with condition of railway track.
