The paper presents the technological process of organizing the railway transition sections at the junction to the artificial structures. The process is based on a solidification of the ballast material using inorganic binders based on polyurethane. The change of the dynamic vibration and deformation characteristics of a railway ballast layer is studied depending on the degree of solidification by a binder. It is shown that the control of the flow of the binder during the solidification process may be performed by measuring the modulus of elasticity of the ballast.
On Geocryological Justification Of Reconstruction Of Transsib And Bam Roadbed
Keywords: Transsib, BAM, permafrost, deformation of roadbed, stabilization railway. Kondratiev Valentin — D. Geol.-min. Sciences, Prof. of Transbaikal State University, supervisor LLC «TransEGEM». E-mail: v_kondratiev@mail.ru Abstract. The survey conducted in 1996 revealed that the subgrade in the section 6277–6278 km of the Trans-Baikal Railway is under complicated engineering-geocryological conditions. Degradation of the permafrost takes place in many subsections of the section that is the main cause of the permanent subgrade deformations. There is description of results of visual monitoring thaw settlement of permafrost under embankment during 20 years. There are analyses of new reconstruction of the section 6277—6278 km of the Trans-Baikal Railway. Some concrete recommendations in this respect are given.
Statistics Analysis Of Defective Rails With Defect 21
Keywords: defective rail, defect 21, traffic density, tonnage passed, frequency, histogram. Bogdanov Oleg — Ph.D., senior research scientist, a leading engineer of the Laboratory of performance tests of the Department of track and special rolling stock, Joint Stock Company «Scientific-Research and Design-Technology Institute of Rolling Stock» (JSC «VNIKTI»). E-mail: bogdanov_ok@mail.ru Nozdrachyov Gennady — head of the Laboratory of performance tests of the Department of track and special rolling stock, Joint Stock Company «Scientific-Research and Design-Technology Institute of Rolling Stock» (JSC «VNIKTI»). E-mail: nozdrachyov.gennady@yandex.ru Abstract. The research is made to study the statistics of the removal of rails with defect 21 for the period from January 2010 till May 2015. As a result there is obtained a mean value of the distanced run at the moment of the removal of defective rails with defect 21 and also the frequency of their removal. There is determined a dependence between the rail life cycle at the moment of its removal as a defective one with defect 21 and a traffic density. There are analyzed causes of the occurrence of defective rails with defect 21. |
