Abstract. The article presents the results of the study of materials on deformation of linear structures of railway transport located in the cryolithozone. The results of diagnostics of the state of the railway track allow to predict the long-term frozen state of railway infrastructure, to categorize subsidence of the roadbed according to the degree of danger and to develop measures for its stabilization.

Abstract. To determine the possible causes of riding comfort breach on the direction Moscow — Saint-Petersburg in august 2019. Hypothesis methods, analysis possible causes of riding comfort breach, field observation methods are used. The reasons for deviations from the norms of the rail gauge according to the position of the rail threads in the plan (straightening) and reasons for intense fluctuations in the wagging of the rolling stock trolley in the horizontal plane are determined. The necessity of taking into account the equivalent conicity of wheel pairs on the Russian railroads were proved. It is recommended to consider the issue of toughening the standards for maintaining the rail gauge on highways of Russian railroads.

Abstract. In order to improve the efficiency of training specialists for the industry in accordance with the requirements of employers, at the Department of Lifting and Transport, Travel, Construction and Road Machines of the Faculty of Management of Transport and Technological Complexes of the Siberian Transport University, the work of students in the student scientific association «Creation of Promising Technological Machines and Hinged Equipment for Road Construction, Repair and Maintenance» is organized. The main directions of activity of the NDF are creation of new and modernization of existing ones: machinery and equipment; Hydraulic drives and systems; Methods and systems for diagnostics of hydraulic drives, systems, machines and equipment; Measurement and measuring systems of machines and equipment; Control algorithms and control systems of machines and equipment; Test stands; Electronic training courses, textbooks and three-dimensional computer simulators-simulators of machines and technologies. The participants of the CPE carry out real projects on topics agreed with the relevant organizations. While practicing in production, students find problems and solve them during their work at the SNO and during their diploma design. As a result, upon graduation of the university, the production receives: a specialist able to apply scientific methods in solving complex engineering problems; Design of a ready technical solution made on a scientific basis and maximally suitable for use in production. The main projects carried out by students-participants of SNO for production are considered in detail in the work. The results of the work of the JNO in 2015—2019 are presented.
