The article title: «Decrease in retentive magnetism of rails in block joints»

Keywords: Rails, block joints, retentive magnetism, malfunctions.

Abstract: the method of reduction of a magnetical intensity in joints of a stretched rail bed is experimentally tested by means of jointing rails with each other with of the same name magnetic poles. The method allowed to ensure optimum value of a magnetic induction in block joints at the minimum material, labour and time costs.

Stability of the track and viscosity of the crushed-stone ballast

Keywords: jointless track, viscous properties of ballast, consideration the influence of the trains, consideration the time factor.

Abstract

The fact of the existence of viscous properties in the ballast by solving the inverse problem with time-varying longitudinal force is proved in the article. To solve this problem we use the experimental data obtained on the experimental ring VNIIZT considering the influence of the trains.

The calculation of the disclosure gap at the kink whip on bridges

Keywords: continuous track sections, metal bridges, rail bar,

the stress-strain state, the interaction model, finite element method, the formation of gaps.

Abstract

Article is a continuation of the themes touched on in the article Modeling of the interaction of seamless way with the opening structures by the method of finite elements (Herald of VNIIZHT 2/2013). The article is an example of the calculation of the stress-strain state of seamless way at the formation of a break, located on the bridge with the scheme 33+3х66+33. A comparison of the stress-strain state of the scourge on the bridge before and after the formation of a break, show the change in the stress state of the scourge at the device differentiated areas of friction and when installing the equalization of joints. The described method of calculation of the size of the gap at the formation of a break is used when developing the Temporary instructions on designing and laying jointless tracks on a railway line Art. Adler - Alpika-Service». On the specified line built more than 30 railway bridges with a variety of schemes fixing lashes within the span structures. Application of the finite element method allowed us to perform for each bridge multi-variant calculations of the stress-strain state of lashes, possible values gaps formed on the bridges in case of a break of the scourge with different schemes of their retention within the span structures. On the basis of calculations are optimized scheme of fastening lashes within superstructures, as well as the defined limit of the length of spans, where CWR can be used without breaks lashes, i.e. laying in a zone of their mobile ends of the joints equalization.

Human-machine interfaces of special rolling stock diagnostic and monitoring systems

Keywords: human-machine interface, special rolling stock, onboard diagnostic system, monitoring, onboard diagnostic, railway track maintenance machines, automated monitoring system.

Abstract

The article gives an overview of the existing rail maintenance machine diagnostic and control on-board systems used in Russia and abroad. For Russian products are distinguished by their main advantages and disadvantages, described architecture, general principles of work, scopes systems. Foreign systems considered superficially. They are considered in terms of their functionality and application possibilities for Russian maintenance machine. The emphasis is paid to the consideration of a software implementation, human-machine interfaces.
