Improving the efficiency of detecting defects in rails with a large wear

Abstract

The article considers problems of detecting defects in rail head with large wear. The proposed methods (using the scheme «RHOMB, changing an angle of wheel probe inclination) are implemented in commercially available ultrasonic flaw detectors, which effectiveness has been proved for a long time.
